Listening to their stories and learning on the adventure is key! When I am not teaching singing, I love to read, soak up as much music as I can and try new foods.

I have worked many jobs in the past trying to find my passion in life. I am a jack of all trades, as the saying goes!
I have 6 years retail experience in a supervisor position equipping me with valuable time in a customer facing role, a transferrable skillset in administration and cash handling as well as the ability to work in a goal oriented environment.
I was part of a cleaning and maintenance team in a nursing home, which can be a little fast paced and occassionally quiet a dirty job, but I am capable of dealing efficiently with mess - plus I like working with the elderly, I feel like they still have much to teach us and deserve companionship and kindness in the winter years.
I was also a chef and manager in a Mexican restaurant, as I enjoy cooking and love working with people, it was a great job but a little too demanding on my schedule and I like a more even balance between my life and work.
I have taught English abroad, which was such a rewarding experience. I like working with children and immersing myself totally in different cultures - pushing my comfort zone has been challenging sometimes, but so worthwhile.
In my spare time I work a for amateur theatre groups in my home town, doing music directing, helping with costumes and make up or I sing and perform myself in local events or venues!

In my spare time I like to read, paint, write somewhat overly- rhyming poetry or walking with my little orange dog, Wash.
I like to try and be more active, so I have tried zumba, yoga and capoeira but I love to try new food and cook so my relationship with food is sometimes a little more prominent than I'd like 😅
I take part in amateur drama groups in my home town, sometimes singing and on occassion music directing, helping with sets, costumes, make up or wandering in the dark with the backstage crew!
