Description
Hello! My name is Roberta, I’m Italian and I’m 33 years old.
I’ve decided to quit my job and I am now doing a 6-months backpacking trip across South America. I want to do some volunteering activities during this trip, because I think that it will be a great way to know local people and local culture, while giving a hand and sharing my help.Interests

More details about your skills
I have a degree in business and finance, and I’ve worked for several years in the innovation and startup sector. Among other things, I help young entrepreneurs to build up their startup.
I love animals, I grew up with dogs and cats and I can take care of them. I like all kinds of animals and I would like to work with them.
My parents have a big garden, especially with fruit trees, and when I lived with them I helped with general maintenance.
In the past, I’ve done several types of volunteering, including house reconstruction, cooking for immigrants, turtle protection, social projects.
I have good digital skills, for example using Office suite and social media.
I can cook and I will be happy to share some Italian recipes with my hosts! I can also teach some Italian if interested. I speak also English (fluent) and French (intermediate). I am learning Spanish.Age

What else ...
I am a sociable and talkative person, I would love to share knowledge about my country and learn something about the host country. I think that the volunteering experience can be also a cultural experience.
I am a hard worker and quick learner, I will be happy to help out on any kind of tasks and learn something new.
This will be my first experience on workaway, but I’ve done some volunteering abroad few years ago in Costa Rica, in a social project with kids and in a natural reserve for turtle conservation projects.
At home, I am a volunteer for an exchange program organization, so I am used to interact with teenagers of different nationalities, and I provide training on intercultural education to students and families. Some more information
