I'm Rob, I live in the UK and I'm just getting started on the first of hopefully many big adventures.
I've worked in mechanical engineering for the last ~6 years and recently quit the 9-5 for a better pace of life and push myself into the unknown; where the best experiences and stories happen. There's nothing better than meeting new people and spending time in nature. I think all the big problems would be easier to solve if the world learnt to truly connect to nature and each other.
I'm well organised, resourceful and have a strong work ethic.

I've always been into making and fixing things, working with wood and learning new things, especially traditional crafts. I've built my own workshop at home for woodworking, woodturning and general tinkering and have a small business selling my work, made from locally sourced or reclaimed wood. I've got experience doing plumbing and electrics (European) and can turn my hand to most things practical. I have a chainsaw ticket and am comfortable felling trees and splitting firewood.
I'm good with animals, computers, gardening and make my own cider most years.
