Description
Hey there :)
I'm River, and I am from Sydney Australia. After graduating high school, I am taking the year to travel, meet new people and grow and a person before heading to university next year.
After working in and travelling Japan for 4 months , I am now traveling across Europe for the first time So far I've really loved immersing myself into European culture and exploring new cities. While overseas I'm looking to have a variety experiences and hence would love to volunteer/help out at a farm or in a local community to meet new people, learn about new cultures and gain perspective on different ways of living
I'm someone who is willing to work hard, learn new skills, and approach any job with a positive attitude. Also I love to meet new people, and making new friends has definitely been a highlight of my travels so far.Interests

More details about your skills
A lot of my work that I have done has either been in hospitality or in retail, working in cafes, shops, at even in a guesthouse in Japan. Hence I am able to work in teams, provide good customer service if needed and have good communication skills.
I also have experience in volunteering and community work, through leading a charity event last year in my school community called the Push Up Challenge to raise money for a mental health charity called Lifeline, as well as participating in dog walking at a local dog shelter and crocheting squares for blankets for in the past as well.
I also love learning and experimenting with hands-on and DIY skills, and while I am not the most experienced, I would be very willing to learn anything new in this area. In the past I have made some small things like a wallet and a simple marble race track. I am looking to study engineering next year in university and have a genuine interest in designing and creating things.
Being engaged in a lot of sports in Australia such as rugby and Jiu Jitsu, I feel comfortable undertaking physical work. I also have some experience with physical working via handling stocktake whilst working in retail.Age
