  • What skills do you have?

I'm a Flying Dutchman. I worked in many different fields (gardening, house renovations, woodworking, furniture, hosting (exhibitions, galleries and ho(s)tels), social media, all-round assistant in the arts field, etc.), studied different disciplines (multidisciplinary fine art, graphic design, social work and a year of film) and I like to switch in between the fields, "flying" from one task, to the other, adapting, learning, creating, like a jack of all trades, but with different mastered skills/versatile.

I can work with wood, carpeting, gardening/farming, be a good host. I am very clean/tidy, organized and I am able to make it that way (I did the hosting and cleaning for Airbnb for several years and reached "Superhost status". check my reviews here: https://www.airbnb.com/users/show/9845224). I'm skilled with computers/internet/adobe package/graphic design. I love animals (but I'm not very skilled in working with them). I speak fluent English, German, Dutch and I'm improving my Spanish. I've done light renovations of houses/apartments in the past. I'm not a professional cook, but I always love to cook and mostly get complimented about it. I'm not afraid to get dirty. I can work hard as long as I get the feeling that my efforts are appreciated.

You can also check out my past Airbnb reviews to get an honest idea of what people thought of my contact with them as visitor/host: https://www.airbnb.com/users/show/9845224. (I'm not participating in this system anymore. The original intent of original abroad visiting experience got lost in replacement with mainly capitalistic intents)

  • What else ...

    Source unknown:
"Never judge a book by its cover!"

    Source unknown:
You can't prove yourself if you never get a chance to do so.

    Voltaire:
"Think for yourselves and let others enjoy the privilege to do so also."

    Jordan Nichols (14):
"Our generation will be known for nothing.
    Never will anybody say,
We were the peak of mankind.
That is wrong, the truth is
    Our generation was a failure.
    Thinking that
    We actually succeeded
Is a waste. And we know
Living only for money and power
    Is the way to go.
    Being loving, respectful, and kind
Is a dumb thing to do.
    Forgetting about that time,
Will not be easy, but we will try.
Changing our world for the better
    Is something we never did.
    Giving up
Was how we handled our problems.
    Working hard
    Was a joke.
    We knew that
People thought we couldn’t come back
    That might be true,
    Unless we turn things around"
