  • More details about your skills

I'm a Flying Dutchman. I worked in many different fields (gardening, house renovations, carpentry, electricity, hosting (exhibitions, galleries and ho(s)tels), social media managing, all-round assistant in the arts field, etc.), studied different disciplines (multidisciplinary fine art, graphic design, social work and a year of film) and I like to switch in between the fields, "flying" from one task, to the other, adapting, learning, creating, like a jack-of-all-trades, but with several mastered skills/versatile.

The last few years I've been mostly committed to event productions. Creating festivals and building stands for fairs. Starting with an empty hall or field of grass, creating an event, a temporary world, and afterward returning it to the original state.

I can work with wood, carpentry. I’ve helped with several renovations of houses/apartments in the past.

I'm a good host. I am very clean/tidy, organized and I am able to make it that way (I did the hosting and cleaning for Airbnb for several years and reached "Superhost status". check my reviews here (also from places I've been as a guest): https://www.airbnb.com/users/show/9845224).

    I'm skilled with computers/internet/Adobe package/graphic design/video editing.

I love gardening/farming, and working with animals (I'm not super experienced in working with them, but I'd like to change that). I'm a hard worker, and not afraid to get my hands dirty.

I speak fluent English, German, Dutch and I'm improving my Spanish.

I'm not a professional cook, but I always love to cook and get complimented for it (so I guess I do something right). In the last 2-3 years, I started to have an interest in fermentation. I learned how to keep a "Massa Madre" and bake loaves of bread with it, I'm making Kombucha with my Scobies, learned how to make Kimchi, sauerkraut, water kefir, etc.

I can be very committed, as long as I get the feeling that my efforts are appreciated. I expect an exchange of gratitude, respect, and honesty towards each other!

  • What else ...

    Source unknown:
"Never judge a book by its cover!"

    Source unknown:
"You can't prove yourself if you never get a chance to do so."

    Voltaire:
"Think for yourselves and let others enjoy the privilege to do so also."

    Jordan Nichols (14):
"Our generation will be known for nothing.
    Never will anybody say,
We were the peak of mankind.
That is wrong, the truth is
    Our generation was a failure.
    Thinking that
    We actually succeeded
Is a waste. And we know
Living only for money and power
    Is the way to go.
    Being loving, respectful, and kind
Is a dumb thing to do.
    Forgetting about that time,
Will not be easy, but we will try.
Changing our world for the better
    Is something we never did.
    Giving up
Was how we handled our problems.
    Working hard
    Was a joke.
    We knew that
People thought we couldn’t come back
    That might be true,
    Unless we turn things around"

    Me:
"Everything is perfect, nothing is perfect!"
