Description
We are available from start to mid August 2023 and we want to go to Georgia and Eastern Europe. We specifically want to learn about Qvevri wine and goat farming (Rachel’s pipe dream). We are very friendly and get on with people easily and we’re looking to spend some time in the countryside doing something new and different. We’re easy going and love being outside in nature and learning new things. We love hiking and spend our weekends in the UK going to our nearby fells.

We have travelled both individually and together. Rachel has used workaway before but Rick is new to it. We enjoying getting involved with the area rather than sticking to their peripheries as many tourists do. Rachel has done farm work with workaway before including cattle ranching, hobby farm, lambing, goat milking and tree farming. Rick is a mechanic by trade but keen to add to his repertoire. We both really love hiking and getting out into the mountains for day hikes but also long distance hikes. We are both keen to get stuck in and try new things (Especially new things) and learn.

What else ...
We really enjoying trying and learning to make local food (we try to do this at home but with varying degrees of success). Rachel loves animals and being out in a barn or field playing with or looking after them. We both enjoy board games and learning new ones. Rachel worked at an axe throwing experience for a while before we went travelling. We go cycling regularly, but nothing hard core or serious!
