Kia ora, my name’s Phoebe :)
I’m Kiwi and while I would love to one day travel overseas, right now I’m looking to first explore my gorgeous home country.

I’m a very tidy Kiwi and am not afraid to get my hands dirty helping with cleaning, gardening, labour etc. while staying with you. I’m also planning to study early childhood education at university next year so I’m keen to babysit as well. I have prior cleaning, animal care, and babysitting experience.

Some of my personal interests are natural health and wellbeing, nutrition, fitness and spending time outdoors, being around animals, and reading.

I would love to be able to connect with people and take away valuable skills and experiences while being a workawayer.

I’ve worked as a school cleaner which required me to work independently and reliably. I was also responsible for the security of the school by setting the alarm and locking up each night. I’ve babysat children aged 3-12 years old over the past few years. I lived on a 6 acre lifestyle block and have hand-raised orphaned lambs and goat kids and am familiar around horses, pigs, and dogs. I’ve also helped with various small jobs around the land including weeding and gardening, prepping and painting the roof of the house, pulling up invasive thistles, and looking after the animals.

Phoebe is an outstanding WorkAwayer. She did two weeks of housesitting for us and took excellent care of our 3 pets--2 sausage dogs and 1 cat--and home.
