Description

My name is Luc and I'm originally from Cambridge in the UK. I now live in Canada and work as a ski instructor in Whistler. I enjoy working outdoors and I gain energy from good conversation, coaching/helping others and learning new skills. I also really enjoy playing tennis, travelling, hiking, climbing and of course skiing. I'm hoping to gain language skills from my future workaways, especially French as this will help with my permanent residency application for Canada.

My current job as a ski instructor means I work a lot with children. I'm very comfortable coaching and educating children of all ages. I also have worked in plenty of restaurants as a manager, server and bartender which has required me to fix equipment quickly on the fly! I've also briefly worked on building sites so I have a little experience working with tools. But I'm a quick learner and I know that I will learn new skills quickly which should help me in this area.
