Hi i'm Paulina!!
I am a university student with a naturally curious mindset and a strong work ethic, always eager to learn by doing. Having grown up between rural and urban communities in the Pacific Northwest, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the different ways people live and connect with the land.
I love learning with my hands—whether it's baking, crafting, gardening, or engaging in physical labor—and I feel most fulfilled when I’m outdoors, whether I’m running, biking, swimming, or working outside. I’m a team player and enjoy connecting with others, but I also value quiet moments and solo time to recharge. This September, I’m hoping to spend about three weeks immersed in farm life to gain hands-on experience and deepen my understanding before returning to the school grind!Interests

More details about your skills
Overall, I would describe myself as a problem solver able to take on any task assigned.
I’m comfortable getting my hands dirty and often take the initiative to organize and clean the spaces I’m in. I grew up working for my dad’s residential construction company, doing everything from hauling materials to problem-solving during home additions.
In high school, I spent my summers gaining a range of hands-on experience; from assisting with construction and helping my mom build her garden, to teaching young children dance and working in fast-paced kitchens.
My strong people skills were shaped by time spent supporting my mom’s kindergarten classroom, holding leadership roles on campus, and connecting with older relatives—I genuinely enjoy engaging with people across generations.
I also love to cook and bake, with a natural intuition developed from watching family members, though I’m just as comfortable following a recipe when needed.
Overall, I consider myself a capable problem solver who’s ready to take on whatever task is at hand.Age

What else ...
I grew up dancing and have recently gotten into line dancing! Would love to teach the dances I know, and learn from those with more experience. I may need to have internet access for weekly work meetings.
