  • Description

Ahhh! what motivates me? such a loaded question. Doing things, I think is the most fitting answer to what motivates me. Doing things that have to be done for the greater purpose of having something come to life. I'm pretty sure that's it. What about purpose? Well, isn't that another great question! I don't know! And I'm not quite sure I'll figure that out...

I like doing a lot of things. I like learning, too, which really comes in handy when I'm embarking on a vastly different journey than the things I've done in the past. Just mix it in with an obsessive personality and that's me! It works out so well, trust me.

I work at a climbing gym back home and I have a degree in biomedical engineering (really because at 18, I thought it sounded sooo cool (and I still do)). My work's been a lot of things but it just goes back down to making things happen.

I'm very active and I'm unsure I know how to rest. I've been a coach, a program director, I've run summer camps, training camps, I've been a setter, (i.e, building routes people climb on), built stuff out of wood like my home climbing wall, I've organized competitons and events, I've done programming things, lots and lots of excels, managed some projects, stocked some inventory, launched an ecommerce site. A LOT of THINGS, yes, but under the same principle of making things happen that just have to be in the world.

But I can get a little stuck at home, mostly in the comfort of it all and it makes it so hard for me to understand who I am. I've understood that challenging who I think I am happens a lot more often when I get out of that quirky little comfort zone thing and go out there and do things. And naturally, I'm interestend in expanding my self-knowledge! And if that means someone else gets something in return, sounds like a great trade!

  • What else ...

There's a lot more to me I guess. Like there is to everyone.

I love dogs and animals in general. I love a good, deep, meaningful conversation. I love questioning my existance on a daily basis. I love this wildly variable experience of life and I intend to keep it like that.

I also really want to develop my creative side! I hope to learn to play some music, make some art and write some more.
