Description
I love travelling and getting to know new cultures. For me, it's an amazing way to grow as a person :)
At the age of 18, I had the opportunity to do it alone for the first time: 4 months on Erasmus in Finland.
This was an amazing experience in terms of personal growth, getting to know myself better and gaining the independence needed to be a responsible adult.
It also made me hungry for more. More getting to know the world. More challenges. More growth.
I believe that the more I see the world (and the more experiences I have), the better I can help other people.
Later, I did an internship in London for 3 months and, more recently, I spent 1 month travelling through Europe (Germany, The Nederlands, Belgium, Denmark and Sweeden).
Now, it's time to explore cultures that are a lot different from mine. I know I will grow a lot and become a better person. This will have a positive impact on the people around me.
I'm looking forward to new experiences!

What else ...
During my Erasmus experience in Finland, I always had the support of finnish students who would help me with anything I could need.
After coming back to Portugal, I became a volunteer and one of the co-founders of an Erasmus association in my city to help foreign students with whatever they needed during their stay. I gave back the help I was given in Finland :)
I have a degree in Fashion Design and, today, I work in Marketing.
After university, at the age of 22, I was offered a position as a client manager in a clothing manufacturer. I was the bridge between big clients (like Lacoste or No Uniform) and the factory.
Basically, I was responsible for managing hudge clothing orders and making sure they were delivered in time and with great quality, as well as for keeping clients happy. There could be no mistakes and I am proud of how well I did that job.
For me, it was always about giving people the best experience possible: both my co-workers at the factory and the clients I was managing.
Even at the factory, it was clear how passionate I am about helping people, so my transition from fashion to marketing made perfect sense.
Now, I have my own business. I teach entrepreneurs how to unlock their communication skills, so that they feel confident when talking about their business on the social media.

One day, Jin took me to this beautiful temple up in the mountains. That was an amazing experience!
Thanks!
It's a peacefiul place and the cats are super cute!
Jessica is super cool and always ready to help with local information. We did also did a lot of talking (about lots of stuff!) which was amazing.
One night, Jessica took me sightseeing and it was very nice.
The housework was light, which made it the perfect balance… read more
They made me feel super welcome and part of the family and taught me a lot about the japanese culture and cuisine.
I helped with marketing, light housework and cooked portuguese food one night.
Super recommend if you are looking for a cultural immersion!
