Hi, I am Ornella, 19 years old and from Germany. I spent most of my 2025 exploring Canada during my gap year between high school and university. There, I had the amazing chance to do multiple workaways as well as seasonal jobs. Right now I am studying history and literature. As you can imagine, I love places with a strong history and impressive architecture. But I love to spend time in nature as well. When I am not studying or travelling, I'm reading books or play tennis and table tennis.

I learned some Spanish in school and if I'd get the chances I would love to refresh it as I've forgotten almost everything about it except some short phrases. Additionally, I'm attending an italian lecture at my university but I am still at the very beginning of my italian language journey. I can teach my mother tongue German to english speakers.

I am relatively new to this (I only did a farmstay in Italy via WWOOF so far) but I'm a fast learner and have a some basic knowledge about plants and gardening. I just graduated school and am fluent in english (C1 according to my a-levels). I have both german as well as english work experience so far. I sold ice cream in the zoo, worked on a Christmas market, selling foods like mulled wine and partially preparing them (e.g. heating the soup, grilling sausages). Additionally I worked as a private tutor for almost two years. At the same job, I supervised themed camps or so called learning studios. In Canada, I worked as a barista, a hostess and at a kiosk.
