Hello, dear friends and thank you for visiting our profile!

Please note we are interested only in offers around Antibes.

We are Omar & Ea, and we love travelling and meeting new people.
Our shared passions are: rock climbing, languages, carpentry, gardening, cooking, meditation and dogs.

Our journey together started four years ago when we met on the island of Mallorca. After all this time, we've decided to start searching for a new home somewhere in France close to the Riviera. We figured that Workaway could provide us with great opportunities to learn about the culture, people and different areas so we can make an informed decision and have some fun in the process!

A bit about each of us:

Omar
Originally from Chile, he is an ex-head chef who converted into a professional carpenter with experience in furniture making and marine carpentry. He loves cooking, woodworking, his dogs and rock climbing.

Gery aka Ea
Originally from Bulgaria but lived 20 years abroad (UK, Spain, Holland), she worked as an IT Project Manager and then turned to a qualified Montessori educator. Her most enjoyable pastime activities are - meditation, rock climbing, walking her dogs and gardening.

We believe our energy, skills, experience and knowledge will bring joy to the household and progress to your projects !

Omar - carpentry, cooking, painting.
Ea - gardening, teaching, animal care, sanding, varnishing
Ea has plenty of volunteering experience:
- 3 months in Turkey (climbing camp's kitchen with 5 more volunteers)
- 3 months in Spain, working on a herbal project in a climbing hostel
- 3 months in a yoga retreat on the island of Mallorca.
For the past year she's been working on her mother's vegetable and fruit-tree garden, looking after vines, building a dry-stone wall and many more tasks around the property.
