I'll be leaving for Italy in March, but I hope to visit some other European countries (hopefully France, Switzerland, and Spain) as well throughout the spring and summer! If you want to meet up or travel together at all, please reach out :D

Hey, my name's Olivia!! I'm 18 years old and currently located in Northern California, United States. I just graduated high school in June 2023, and I'm taking a gap year before I hope to study music next fall. During my gap year I'm looking to enrich my life with experiences that will help me grow, find community, and bring inspiration into this new stage of my life. I think exploring new places is the perfect opportunity for me to build these experiences and friendships, and I can't wait to learn from our world and the people in it :)

As I briefly mentioned, I have a love for music that has grown over the 11 years I've played the flute, as well as my newest journey of learning the saxophone :D Besides music I enjoy reading, cooking, working my job as a barista, yoga, spending time in nature, meeting new people, and occasionally picking up some paints!

I'm super open minded and easygoing, and I'm looking forward to meeting some fun people to make this a memorable experience. Can't wait to travel with you!

- I am independent / self sufficient. I cook for myself, take care of my responsibilities, and I like to keep my spaces clean and tidy.

- I have taught music lessons for 2 years for beginner students, so I have experience in working with younger kids (usually around 8-13 years old)

- I was the manager at a coffee shop for a bit, so I'm capable of taking on many responsibilities / tasks at once. I was a support system for any problems that employees or customers had which made me a reliable, flexible, and hard worker!

- I'm a very open and friendly person! I used to be pretty shy, but I have really learned to open up and I can now spark up a conversation with anyone who's willing to chat.

- I'm a quick learner. I'm always looking for ways to grow, so I learn quickly and become invested when trying something new. I will do any task you have for me, even if I have no previous experience with it!

- As I mentioned, I'm a very musical person. I would love to bring music into your home and I can also offer some flute / saxophone lessons :)
