Description
Hi! My name is Niamh,
I'm a 25 year old nomadic soul from Ireland. I have been travelling and working across different parts Europe for the last two years. I've spent periods on the road, and periods settled in one place to work or volunteer. Lately, my heart has been yearning to venture further afield! And so it's finally time to leave Europe.
Work that I am most interested in involves work around sustainability/ environmentalism, community, working with animals, or any work where I can get my hands dirty. I am particularly keen to expand my knowledge by experiencing farm work or any work involving tending to the land.
Most importantly, I am eager to contribute positively to any space that I find myself in.
A little bit about me:
I am a bubbly, charismatic and highly adaptive individual who is an enthusiastic worker and operates very well as part of a team as well as independently.
For the past two years, I have been working as a volunteer manager for an organisation called the Psyclean Crew. We are a waste management and eco-awareness team who operate at open-air music festival across Europe. We promote consciousness around trash and waste production, while also protecting the land from trash.
Becoming immersed in culture is something I value deeply while travelling. I am willing to learn a lot from locals, while also eager to meet people from all over the world.
My favourite pastimes include being in the mountains - whether to hike, climb, ski or run - swimming, yoga and dancing.
If I am invited into your space as a workawayer, I can guarantee you my best effort, willingness to learn and lots of smiles :)
