Hello, I'm Michael! Thank you for considering me as a volunteer. I was born in raised in the United States in Arizona. I have worked for the U.S. Forest Service for over 5 years and have gained a variety of experience in hand tool use, chainsaws, mini-excavator and dozer operation, and am skilled in driving large 4x4 vehicles with trailers. I have extensive experience caring for horses and mules. I am also highly experienced working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and am used to laborious tasks.
It has been a life goal for my wife and I to travel and experience the world. We find that there isn't a better way to travel than to immerse yourself in the culture and landscape of the place you're in by volunteering. We want to give back to the place that we're traveling in.Interests

Hello, I'm Sara! Thank you for considering me as a volunteer. I was born and raised in the United States in Arizona. I have a passion for gardening and enjoy growing my own food. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Education. I strive to connect children and adults to the natural world through school garden and agriculture education. I have worked for my local school district as a Farm-to-School Coordinator for the past three years and was responsible for managing the maintenance and programmatic use of 10 school gardens. Two of those years, I served as a full-time AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America), and the last year as a district employee. Ultimately, I want to help take care of the planet while taking care of myself.
I have gardened for many years now, both for work and for pleasure. I have extensive experience with installing and maintaining drip irrigation systems. I am comfortable working in variety of weather conditions. I am confident that my experience and skills will prove very useful.
My husband and I have always longed to travel the world and we can't think of a better way to do it, than to volunteer in the places we visit.Age
