Description
Hi! We are two friends, Molly and Emilia, traveling on our gap year together before university! Our love of travel began when we both were exchange students in high school: Molly in Colombia and Emilia in Paraguay. Molly lived on a coffee farm up in the Andes Mountains and has experienced teaching English to non-native speakers as well as cultural outreach and activism work. Emilia lived in Asuncion with three host families and volunteered with Rotary doing activism work in the community.
Molly started using work away for the first time in 2025 traveling and volunteering in Morocco, Jordan, and Turkey on projects helping with animal care, hospitality and social media/photography among other things. Now Emilia is joining her to travel throughout Central and South America.
We both grew up on farms on a small Island on the Pacific Coast and have work experience in food service and hospitality. Molly's family restaurant gave her experience working since a very young age in restaurants, and we both have experience working in restaurants, cafes, and on farms.
We are not afraid of hard work or difficult living conditions.
We have experience with painting murals along with digital media and event promotion.
