Hi there! My name is Jenna, and I left crazy New York City with a one way flight and a big smile... and a bigger heart :)
I have a passion for psychology and yoga, hoping to one day combine these two and start a holistic healing center of my own. I hope to travel the world until I find the place that feels right, along the way exchanging beautiful moments with beings from all sorts of backgrounds and corners of our earth.
I started traveling and volunteering my last year of undergrad and I fell in love with solo travel through volunteering/working. Now since April 2019 I resume my travels to keep learning, growing, sharing, exploring and connecting. We all have things to offer and teach each other!!
I am open and eager to learn new things. Some things I’m already familiar with from past experiences is helping with construction, child care, a bit of farming/gardening, hospitality, customer service, computer work and teaching. In my personal time I hike, write, cook, bake, plant, do yoga, love fitness, mindfulness, meditation, wine, dancing, reading and love adventures of any sort.
I would love to do more work with ashrams, yoga/meditation retreat centers, permaculture, sustainability, eco-villages, off grid living, etc.. somewhere to help, connect and also grow spiritually and in my yoga practice. Anything that helps out the community, anything in nature, helping the environment, healthy cooking (I am vegan at home) or writing... also am open to doing more construction, childcare, farming, animal care, as well as bartending, hostel and the hospitality industry. the list is endless :) I believe the most important part of life and especially travel is eagerness, curiosity and openness. :)
I am full of energy, always sporting a smile and ready to lend a hand!
I look forward to getting in contact and hopefully crossing paths with you.
