Hi,

I am Mireille, I am from France and I lived in the Netherlands for 20 years. So I speak fluently French, Dutch and English. I am a mother of two daughters who are both in their late twenties, and do not live at home anymore.

So I have a lot of free time, that I want fill with traveling, discovering new places and new people. I am very passionate about nature, bird watching, environmental protection and animal welfare. In my free time I like to read, knit and go hiking. I am a reliable and open minded person with a thirst for learning new things.

At home I often participate in beach clean-ups and nature workshops and I care about sustainable ways of living.

I have various skills in different domains and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty.

I worked as a seamstress and upholsterer in my early twenties for a few years.
After having my second daughter I stopped working but I always continued to sew and knit.
As a creative person, I love discovering different types of artistic activities, I took pottery classes for many years. I'd love to help around with creative projects and DIY's, or even teach some of the things I know.

When I was 42, I went back to school to get a degree to become a receptionist. I worked for a few years at the reception of two different nature reserves. This job taught me a lot about nature and different wild animals, especially birds. I also worked as a receptionist at several campsites, where we had a lot of international clients.

After living in the Netherlands for 20 years, I can also speak fluent Dutch and English.

Being a mother of two daughters (who are now in their late twenties), I can help with child care, cooking and daily life tasks. When they were young I was a very active volunteer at their school, helping with organizing events, school outings etc.

I have often volunteered at nature workshop where I helped with bird counting, clearing of brushwood, removing invasive plants, picking up trash, educating people about shore fishing etc.
