My primary hobbies are reading, cooking, playing board games, being outside (hiking, running, camping, sports, etc.), and playing music (which is also my profession!).

I consider myself a people-loving, curious, and adventurous individual. Music has been my passion for years in many facets: teaching, composing, and performing. I enjoy working with students both in and outside of the music world. I have adopted many hobbies over the years that bring me joy: cooking, reading, being outside, and socializing with people, to name a few. Traveling is another hobby that has provided me with unique musical opportunities, new friendships, and a greater perspective of the world.
My greatest sense of purpose comes from God. As a Christian, it is not only my mission but my joy to serve others. That's why volunteer opportunities such as Workaway are appealing to me.

I am primarily a musician and teacher. I have worked with students of all ages in many settings, both in music and in church settings. My experiences as a teacher have also boosted my interpersonal skills. While I do not have extensive experience in areas such as carpentry, plumbing, etc., I am no stranger to power tools and DIY projects. The same can be said for agricultural work. When in doubt, I can usually pick something up quickly.
