Hi! My name is Mein!

I'm from Amsterdam and finished my studies Media and Culture about a year ago.

This January I will do my first Yoga Teacher Training in Mysore, India. Afterwards, I hope to stay somewhere in that area and ground a bit on the other side of the world!

In 2019 I traveled to Japan with the Trans-Siberian Express and spent some time in South-East Asia as well! It was an amazing experience but with workaway I would love to stay at one place for a longer period of time.
In 2023 I lived in Lisbon as an exchange student and absolutely loved it!

With workaway I hope to make genuine connections, to learn new languages and to experience life from a different perspective!
My hobbies are cooking, singing, yoga, watching films and taking photographs.

You really get a peek into Nepali family life at the Farmstay! Everyone is really sweet. There is time and space to do your own thing too. It was however quite busy with a lot of people coming and going. It would have been nice to be with one group and work on one project together, now the work was a bit random.

I had such a great time volunteering! Malvikaa knows a lot about permaculture and design and shares that knowledge with you, and she meets you at your level of experience. Shravan is great host as well and both make you feel at home and at ease.
