Hi there! José (Colombian) and I, Medina (Dutch) have been exploring Australia since last year. We are an adventurous couple who loves the outdoors. We have a positive, hard-working mindset. Traveling is our passion. Together we have already had beautiful experiences all over the world. We are excited to learn about and connect with Australia through it's people.

Medina:
-I have years of experience in Hospitality (Kitchen-hand, FOH, Barista) and retail (Tree of Life in Townsville).
- I am a certified language coach, and worked as a volunteer for a homeless institution.
- I have a Bachelor Degree in Communication, where I learned how to grow a business , design and develop concepts, storytelling, sustainability in business and social entrepreneurship. I have also worked in South Africa with a film producer NGO.
- I have worked as a receptionist/manager in a hostel in Medellín, Colombia.


Jose:
- Support worker: I have been working as a support worker in Townsville. Working with both children and adults with special needs (I have my Blue Card).
- Head Tour Guide: Every two weeks I took a group of 15 people under my wing, traveling to all parts of Colombia. I always made sure people had the best time, learn about our culture, and eventually make everyone fall in love with Colombia.
- I have worked as a Gyproker for 2 years in Sydney (Plastering).
- From 2016-2021 I have done different hospitality jobs while studying in Sydney.
- I have helped with building bio/earth houses in local communities in Colombia.

What else ...

We would love to get more into perma-culture as this is something we see in our future. We love hiking, exploring swimming holes, going to the beach. We love sports, and have tried / practised quite a few such as skateboarding, running, surfing, fitness, beach-volley, frisbee, slackline and so on. We travel with a Guitar, a Ukelele and a Melodica.
