Description
Hello! We’re Maxine and Tom, a fun loving, open minded couple from a small town called Buckingham in central England. An easy going couple both 27 years old moving to Vancouver from July. We enjoy anything active, Tom football (soccer), rugby, running, golf, skiing, windsurfing (there's not much he won't try). Maxine pretty much all the above and plays hockey (not ice) competitively. But we equally like chilling out reading something good, going out for good food and drink and generally exploring new things. We would also love to live/meet other people in to the same stuff. We are adaptable and willing to try anything new and take on new challenges with open arms. We are both very keen on the outdoors, environment and love to stay active, also love trying new experiences and making memories.

Tom has a keen passion for sport and most of his hobby’s outside of work revolve around outdoors. He graduated with a degree in Sports Science in 2019. He plays golf, cricket, rugby and enjoys sailing, windsurfing and skiing when they’re in season. To wind down he enjoys reading, watching sport and listening to podcasts. His strengths tend to come with anything practical and hands on and is a quick learner with physical tasks. He has experience teaching, working with children and adults as well as in hospitality and customer facing roles. So he will be handy with building and gardening jobs however is willing to adapt and work hard at absolutely anything.He is laid back and easy going, with a friendly nature and a fun spark. His language skills are limited but is wanting to improve them and exchange the English language around the world.
Maxine graduated with a degree in landscape architecture in 2019. She is a hugely creative person who loves to design and create new things including jewellery. She’s passionate about the environment and sustainable living and wants to change her lifestyle to to protect the world and make it a better place. She has a variety of experiences which include garden design and more hands on type of roles physically like building patio areas etc. Her previous jobs have aloud her to develop customer service skills as well as hospitality and childcare. Her hobby’s include hockey, surfing, windsurfing, hiking and horse riding. To relax she loves yoga and reading. She’s easy going, patient yet hardworking and passionate when it comes to the things she loves. She has started to learn Spanish and is keen to improve on her language skills.

As a couple we love the outdoors and spend time hiking, running, cycling windsurfing, sailing and watching sport together. We are also both keen to change our lifestyles to become more sustainable and environmentally friendly. We have a general love of adventure and enjoy doing activities that keep us healthy.
We are not tied down to any specific plans so dates and locations can be very flexible. We are seeking adventure, new cultures and learning through getting out of our comfort zone to hopefully grow people.
