Hi 👋

My name is Mateo, and I'm originally from Colombia. I have a background in Architecture and Design, and I enjoy being outside and helping with construction or creative projects. I've volunteered before, taking care of animals and working on construction projects using bio techniques. I also lived in an ecovillage for six months, where I built a treehouse of my own design.

I am respectful, friendly, and empathetic. While I can be extroverted at times, I am not always. I am positive, a non-smoker, active, and I enjoy team sports and board games. I tend to say yes to new experiences.

I like hiking and, in general, the whole idea of exploring places. I used to play football and basketball ⚽. I'm not as good anymore, but I still enjoy playing. I love playing board games like Catan, card games, and interactive-social games in general. I am interested in learning local traditional building techniques and bio-ecological construction. I am also interested in the treatment of water and sustainable energy with the aim of building a more sustainable world. I love animals and enjoy philosophical/existential conversations.
