We're Matej and Anamarija, a 25-year-old recently married couple from the picturesque land of Slovenia.

We're two young souls who have decided to take a much-deserved gap year (we're Master's students of Geography - Matej, and Family Marital Therapy - Anamarija) to dive headfirst into the wonders of this beautiful planet. The call of the ocean and nature is irresistible to us as we dream of riding waves on different coasts. We're also passionate about reading, engaging in various sports activities, immersing ourselves in local cultures and meeting people from all walks of life. Beyond our love for travel and exploration, we yearn for meaningful connections and experiences that transcend tourist destinations. Also, we can't wait to contribute our skills and enthusiasm to projects that promote positive change.

Matej - I am an outgoing, extraverted person with adventurous and energetic spirit. If I were to choose 3 things that I am passionate about, I would definitely say cycling, scuba diving and chasing sunrises. I love embracing the serenity and beauty of the early morning hours amid breathtaking landscapes. Also, I am a dedicated volunteer firefighter and often rush into action to protect lives and property during emergencies. I approach every problem with a can-do attitude. As a Master's student in geography, I am equipped with skills in environmental analysis, spatial data interpretation, and sustainable development. I also have practical skills, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for actively participating in transformative projects. My wife and I have transformed our home for our wedding and this experience not only honed our practical skills but also brought our community together, with neighbors and friends contributing their time and expertise. Whether it's cycling through sunlit meadows, exploring underwater wonders, or facing challenges head-on, I believe I live my life to the fullest, embracing every moment with enthusiasm and a heart full of gratitude.

Anamarija - I believe I am a caring and skillful person, dedicated to helping others build meaningful and positive relationships, I also love surfing and jazz ballet dancing.
As a Master's student specializing in Family Marital Therapy, I have developed a profound understanding of human relationships and emotional dynamics. I am dedicated to fostering strong bonds within families and communities, and I believe in the transformative power of emotional support and understanding. My passion lies in empowering individuals and strengthening family units, promoting resilience, and creating a positive impact on people's lives. I am thrilled to engage in projects that involve community building, workshops, and providing a safe space for personal growth and healing.
