Description
Hello everyone!
I'm a positive yes-girl from up north, also known as Norway. I grew up on a farm in the countryside, but have lived in the city for some years now. Most of my life I have had all kinds of animals around me, and I have a lot of exxperience with small and big dogs, horses and cows but absolutely love most animals. I also enjoy being outdoors in nature and spent a lot of time in the scouts growing up, and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. I've been helping a lot at the farm for some summers and also had some experience working in some stables. Mainly I want to work at farms, stables and rescue shelters.
I am a creative soul and I love playing, listening and dancing to music. I have also tried to get more involved in mindfulness and yoga again, and would love to go somewhere self improvement is also seen as a bonus. I play several instruments (saxophone,piano, learning guitar) and dabble in singing. I absolutely fell in love with salsa dancing, and now dance salsa, bachata and some kizomba. Musical experiences are really valuable to me. I spend a lot of time doing creative projects like painting and drawing, and I also love working and being around animals. I am a food lover and an outgoing person that enjoys meeting new people and discovering new connections. I have backpacked through South America, sailed for a month in the Caribbean, and lived in Argentina and Nicaragua for some time.
I have traveled quite a bit, and I am now ready and excited to embarc a new adventure for the summer of 2025. As of now I am looking for somewhere (preferably Italy) in Europe to go this summer for 3-6 weeks, and have lately been feeling an urge to reconnect with animals ,nature and the countryside-lifestyle.
I have previously spent 1 month at a horse farm in the US and really enjoyed the time , I had such a great host who really took me in as if I were a family member. I also spent a couple of weeks at another horse farm in Portugal very long ago with my sister, and I just loved the experiences. I truly enjoy getting to know new people and animals, learning and expanding the knowledge I have and to feel like an asset wherever I go. I have gotten used to adapt very quickly as I have been living in shared living situations since I was 15. I also started working at the age of 14 and I am reliable, I do what is expected and I keep my word. I deeply appreciate being met with honesty, kindness, curiosity and creativity. (I tried to find more photos of previous work experiences, and I realize I am usually the person taking the pictures hehe)
