Description
My name is Marlene, I'm 25 years old and originally from Berlin. I was always fascinated by Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia. I heard and read about hospitable people and amazing landscape. I am very interested in Sowjet and Post-Sowjet history, which I think comes from my family's stories about the divided city of Berlin. Because of my deep interest I started studying Russian three years ago at the university. I'd be really excited to improve my language skills while travelling in the Caucasus and Central Asia.
I spent some time travelling in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. I volunteered in hostels and did other workaways on farms. It was a great experience, especially getting to know a different culture and way of life. I also made some good friends from all around the world and learned a lot.
I just graduated my bachelor degree in nature protection and landscape use. I love to be in the nature and my main interest in University was everything about plants and botanic. During the last year I was working for an agricultural consultancy company that really got me interested in agrarian topics. I'm looking to gain more experience in farming and farm management. And I'm hoping to find some great places to learn and enjoy farm work during my travels.

Actually I can do different type of work. Because of my job at a horse ranch, i'm familiar to hard and exhausting work. Also I absolutely enjoy working with other peolpe and get to know different cultures and places. I'm an open-minded and communicative person and on the weekend I appreciate to cook with friends for dinner even when I'm not the most professional. :D
