Hello! We are Mariachiara and Iris, we are two friends from Bologna, Italy (well, we are not actually from Bologna, but we both go to university there). We became friends a couple of years ago and we bonded because we share the same passion for live music and the same view on life. But let us tell you something more specific for each of us...
I'm Mariachiara, a 21 yo girl from Italy. I'm here because I've always been a curious person, in love with the world and all its peculiarities and I'd like to share my enthusiasm with new people and help them out in their every day life, discovering new lifestyles and places. Traveling is what makes me feel alive as well as science. I'm a medicinal chemistry student and studying to help other people out one day and maybe make the world a lil better is what motivates me every day. Science, friends, family and spending time in nature are the things in which i find the most joy and that make my life meaningful.
I’m Iris and I’m 21 years old. The thing that brings me the most happiness is nature I think: it’s not just simple happiness, it’s peace and a feeling of connection to the world. Nature is also what motivates me in most things I do, I would love to make protecting it my future job. Coming from a rural island (Sardinia) I’ve learned since I was little the importance of traditions, learning from wiser people and community, which I hope I can find in this experience. I also really love music, even if I don’t play any instrument; I always need a soundtrack for my life! Another thing that brings me happiness is kindness, especially the not explicit one that you can find in small gestures such as smiling at a child.

Mariachiara: I'm good at cooking and i love to do it for friends and people i love. (Not to brag but I can make a good homemade pizza hehe! :))) . One of my passions is also taking care of pets; back home we've always had dogs and cats since i was a child. I'm a very patient and kind person and also good with kids ( i have experience as school tutor) . Moreover, I live on my own since I was 18 yo and this helped me in becoming good at home maintanance and cleaning.
I also have a little experience in gardening and growing produces, thanks to my grandpa that back in my homeland in Sicily was a farmer and taught me a lot of his secrets.
Generally, I'm also a very adataptable person and always looking forward to learning new skills!
Iris:I have a little experience in gardening since I lived with my grandma, who transmitted me a love for cooking. I enjoy preparing especially veggies and soups, but I’m getting pretty good with vegan desserts as well (you have to try my apple, cinnamon and caramel muffins)! I have experience with kids since I often babysit my two nephews, and since I live on my own I know how to take care of house chores. I have working experience in an ice cream shop, where I used to produce it, and as a barista. I always have my compact 2005 fujifilm camera with me and I always try to capture the happiness of moments with it!
