Description
hello!
my name is Madge and I am currently traveling with my partner Maggie. After a few years of travelling the U.S. and living in New York City, we're excited to be exploring other parts of the world.
We are artists and activists with a passion for community. We have found the most joy living in spaces that prioritize creativity, communication, and authentic connections between people. We have experience living in communes, homesteads, and farms, and Maggie has worked in refugee centers in Serbia (during 2018) and Mexico (2023).
A little bit about Madge:
I am a performing artist who creates through singing, improvisation, spoken word and movement. I also love community organizing and have produced 4 seasons of Speakeasily, a women's open mic in New York City. I'm a natural extrovert and love hearing and telling stories. I work as a digital freelancer specializing in graphic design, website design, social media management, and video editing. I also love to crochet!
A little bit about Maggie:
I'm a visual artist comfortable in many mediums, but painting is my main passion. I also have a degree in psychology, and have worked for several years as a licensed psychotherapist. About a year ago I left my private practice to pursue art full time, and have found it an equally powerful avenue towards healing. Over the past year, I've been a street artist in New York City and have had the opportunity to paint some murals, something I would love to do more of! I've also started learning to tattoo which has been my latest challenge and inspiration.

It was our first time living at a commune and gave me a true of sense of how this kind of lifestyle can thrive.

the kind of work we do. I became… read more
I could rely on her to run the classes in an interesting and fun way. Our children really took to her and felt sorry she had to leave after 6 days.
She cooked a delicious applie cake with my daughter and took execellent care of our dog.
I strongly recommend her!
Thank you Monica. Keep on going, keep on growing and you will be a shining light in whatever you doing.
Love and light from Amrit and Sebastian
