Hello, I am adult woman who has had many experiences in life and I am still looking for new experiences. I am a biology teacher and I have been teaching for 25 years.Walking, climbing and cycling are my favorite sports. I have planted flowers and planted strawberries and vegetables. I am interested in carpentry and construction, etc. Work and physical activities give me energy. I am kind, patient, full of energy and peaceful, with a friendly demeanor and always smiling. I have survived cancer and I truly appreciate life.

I don’t know how to begin. My heart is breaking, because this wonderful, charming woman that I’ve grown to love, is leaving tomorrow morning. If you are looking for a smart,honest, hardworking helper, here she is. When she arrived, we walked all around our ranch and I explained what we had, and what things we’d like to do, someday. I did the same… read more in the house. I asked her what kinds of things she liked to do. She asked me about tools. That was about the conversation. She’s learning English, and she is an eager learner. I had no problem communicating with her at all. I told her to pretend she lives here, because she would be. I told her to work on anything she wanted to. She chose to work outside every day. We had several trees growing too close to our chain link fence, and some growing through it. She cut down trees with both a tree saw and a chain saw. She cut and stacked about 5 years worth of fire wood for our kitchen stove. She started seeds to plant in the garden, pruning, thinning and transplanting fruit trees. Saving an overgrown rose bush that I’ve always loved. I had no idea how to do what she did. Because she knew I loved those roses, she took cuttings and kept them in her room. Today she planted them in a huge plant pot to overwinter and plant in the spring. Did I mention that she’s thoughtful? Mansoureh is a good cook. We made dinner together many times. We each did one part, and whatever she made was always the best part of dinner.
She feeds the chickens, collects the eggs, takes care of the horse, waters the lawn, mows the lawn. She has repaired our watering system for the trees and bushes. She washes dishes, vacuums, and cleans. She just does whatever she sees that needs doing, just like she lives here.
We foster cats for a local shelter, and they adore her. Two of them love her so much that they sit outside her bedroom door waiting for her to come out.
Soon after she arrived one of my cats that was born here 17 years ago, died. She grabbed the tools and went right to work building her burial box.
A couple of weeks ago, a cousin that I had never met was coming for a visit. Mansoureh worked for hours organizing, sweeping, dusting, cleaning and by the time my cousin came everything looked great.
The longer I sit here and write, more and more things come to my mind. There’s just not enough space here, or words to tell you how wonderful she is. We will miss her so much. We are hoping she will be able to come and spend the holidays with us.
