Hi there! I’m a recent graduate from International Development at a UK university, excited to now have the freedom for new experiences around the world. I am extremely passionate about supporting others, and any voluntary work I undertake is both a personal moral obligation as well as professional development for my future career in the charity sector.

I’ll be travelling around India, Nepal and Sri Lanka from August-November this year and hope to gain a deeper understanding of community life and culture through Workaway.

I have one fantastic experience with Workaway, when I volunteered in a hostel in a small countryside town in Colombia. I also have lots of voluntary experience, including 2 years as a volunteer in a day centre for homeless young people, working in an animal refuge and teaching English. I have worked paid jobs as a tutor and nanny to a family with 3 children, caring for the elderly and in a sustainable refill shop.

I’m a reliable and enthusiastic worker, and love to learn from others and their experiences in life. I’d be honoured to participate in your project alongside you!

I love being around kids, supporting their growth and holistic wellbeing. It’s great seeing their creativity and imagination and getting involved with this!
(I have a qualification as a tutor for Forest School outdoors education and much experience as a nanny).

I adore animals, previously owning pigs and goats alongside my beloved dogs. Being outside in nature brings me so much peace and I’ll even admit to hugging the occasional tree! ;)
