Hi there! I left my job in Vancouver BC, and have been abroad for the last four years. I’m adventurous, easy going and I love meeting new people. Over the past two years living in New Zealand, I have worked in hospitality and customer service roles, including Guest Service Agent at a four-star hotel, Hostel Manager, Ferry Customer Service Representative, and Hostel Receptionist. These roles strengthened my communication, organization, problem-solving, and people skills.

Before moving abroad, I worked in the school system supporting children with learning and behavioural challenges, which taught me patience, adaptability, and flexibility. I also have seven years of customer service and supervisory experience, including staff training, cash handling, merchandising, and restaurant work involving food preparation and inventory management.

During my travels, I have volunteered in a variety of roles, including hostel reception, housekeeping, bar work, permaculture projects, cleaning, and caring for dogs at an animal shelter. I'm passionate about animals, photography, and the outdoors, and I enjoy learning new skills and helping wherever needed.

I originally came here as a guest, but I loved it so much I decided to volunteer. The staff was so welcoming and created a great atmosphere. The accommodations could have been better for the volunteers, one of the rooms had black mold. So many great memories and connections, I will definitely come back!! Thank you!
