I’m Lucile, originally from the beautiful island of La Réunion in the Indian Ocean 🌴☀️
I’m someone who’s always smiling, curious about the world, and genuinely excited to learn and grow through new experiences. I love sharing – whether it’s stories, life tips, spiritual stuff or fun facts about my island (trust me, it’s a paradise worth talking about!).

Right now, I’m at a turning point in life. I’m thinking of becoming an English teacher one day – maybe! I really enjoy the language and the idea of teaching it… but I want to see if I truly love the act of teaching, or just the idea of it. That’s one of the reasons I’m on Workaway – to meet new people, speak more English, and reconnect with what makes me feel alive.

I believe in doing things with heart and giving my best. I'm also here to open my mind, learn new ways of living, and hopefully gain more clarity about what I want for the future. I’d be more than happy to help out and learn new things – I love being useful and discovering new skills along the way!

I have a strong interest in the English language and communication in general. I’m pretty comfortable with tools like Canva, Word, and basic video editing, especially for creating content on social media. I enjoy working on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest – organizing posts, and promoting ideas or projects in a creative and positive way is something I really like doing!

I’m also into nutrition and fitness, and I’ve learned a lot through personal experience. I love cooking (especially plant-based meals), and I’m always happy to lend a hand in the kitchen. I’d say I’m quite organized, friendly, quick to learn, and always willing to contribute where I can – whether it’s through helping with daily tasks, managing schedules, or assisting with any online content creation.

What else ...

One thing to know about me: I’m pesco-vegetarian , so I tend to eat mostly plant-based with some fish now and then ! :)
I’m also really into sports and staying active is a big part of my daily routine – I have to admit, I do hope I’ll be able to keep moving while I’m away! Back home in Réunion, I usually train at the gym 5 to 6 times a week, go for runs, and I absolutely love hiking. I find hiking to be such a great way to explore a region – it’s not only beautiful but also super therapeutic for the mind. So if you’re into outdoor adventures, I’ll be more than happy to join!
