Hi WorkAway!
I’m Lucy, travelling from North Wales.
Travel is a key part of who I am, keen to immerse myself in new cultures and communities.
Additionally, art, music and sports play a large role in my character.
For me, art is a both an escape and a form of self expression. I love to draw, crochet and spend time with a camera.

I have grown up playing the piano and violin, being part of an orchestra for several years. I love to watch live music, attending several concerts/ festivals every year.

Further, sports. Though swimming and Hiking are my Go-To’s, I love to immerse myself in the outdoors, taking on an array of pursuits the land offers. MTB, sailing and climbing to name just a few.

Working within the leisure industry for 3 years I have built knowledge in an array of fields, varying from being a facility supervisor, lifeguard, swimming teacher/ assistant, receptionist and cleaner. Through this position I have also gained a selection of qualifications. These consist of:
- IQL Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
- IQL Level 2 Award in Automated External Defibrillator – AED
- IQL Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis
- IQL Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work
- IQL Level 2 Award in Pool Lifeguarding, Intervention, Supervision and Rescue
Further, through the completion of my Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award I have participated in a collective 12 months volunteering with children. This was done through scouting; working with Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, children ranging in age from 5-10.
