Description
I love to travel: first with my parents to Italy, later with sport taking me around half the world, then professionally to Switzerland. After that, I was drawn to travel half the world again, this time with my camera. For the past three years, I’ve been on the move almost constantly with just hand luggage—mainly across Europe and North Africa. Even in my youth, I was fascinated by different ways of life. Slow travel deepens these impressions in a special way—and it shapes me: to be open, modest, and independent. I also love sharing all these experiences with my wife when we travel together.

I started out as a car mechanic, with a brief detour into horticulture, before working for many years as a theatre technician specialising in lighting and stage. I enjoy teaching myself whatever currently interests me or is new, which is why I’m comfortable using a wide range of tools. As a user, I appreciate Linux and maintain my phone with as little Google as possible.
What else ...
In my youth, I was a Scout and played a variety of games with my two boys. I can also hold my own in card games. From time to time, I enjoy drawing and sewing.
