We will be travelling to Peru for a few months and would love to do workaway with local organisations that work with children, women, refugees and people in vulnerable situations.

Description

Hello, we are Lucas (23, Portuguese) and Isabel (24, German) and we have some time in between jobs/internships that we want to spend doing workaway in Peru or Colombia. We are very open, kind people that enjoy travelling, being in nature, learning new skills and getting to know new places, cultures and people. While Lucas has been to some countries in South America as a child, Isabel has not yet been to the continent, but is very excited to go there.
Isabel is a very positive person, always happy to help and excited to try everything and learn about everything. She is tireless, dedicated and is extremely responsible, and would like to be immersed in a different culture and try new things. Lucas is simlarly good-natured and eager to learn, therefore he is hoping that his time travelling provides him with knowledge of native history and culture, as he is very passionate about history and politics.
We both finished a Master's degree in International Relations and now did an internship. While Lucas was now doing an internship in the banking sector, Isabel was doing one in an organisation dealing with migration. We are looking forward to being able to have a more direct impact, helping local organisations, where possible. We are open to different tasks and are happy to share our knowledge and experience where possible.

We both have a Master's degree in International Relations, so we like discussing political issues, and are good at drafting texts and doing research. Lucas is very interested in history and politics and is happy to share his knowledge. Isabel has worked in different initatives where she was involved in event administration, so she can help with organising events, or social media. We are both learn fast, very social and enjoy taking on new tasks. We have both led smaller projects and teams and take on responsibility, where needed.
