Hello everyone! :)

I am Lisa, a young woman from Italy. I am currently travelling and finishing my Master studies in Germany before settling down and starting a family! I am from Tuscany, a beautiful Italian region rich in history, art, excellent food, vineyards and gorgeous landscapes. I grew up in a small town near Florence and later I moved to Bologna for my Bachelor in Linguistics/Computational Linguistics.

During my studies, as well as after, I worked as a waiter/kids entertainer/receptionist manager/booking office assistant/sales assistant in the hospitality industry and luxury fashion industry to acquire a full economic independence. However, I have never been a "city person" :), so in the meantime I kept helping my grandparents with their garden, my relatives with their olive plantations (pruning and harvesting), my mother with the house chores. I also have experience in assisting elderly people with their needs, as a relative of mine needed help for some months while she was looking for a new domestic worker.

I am a patient, calm, easy-going and curious person who would like to learn more about farm life, gardening, taking care of animals, new cultures, new languages and new perspectives. I am always open to acquire new skills, I just love challenging myself and getting out of my comfort zone. I work out almost everyday and I love keeping in shape, so I am well fit. I don't smoke and I eat any kind of food. As an Italian, I really value the quality of food and the naturalness of ingredients, because, as the famous saying goes, "Mens sana in corpore sano" :). I drive since I was 19 and I am an experienced driver in both right-hand and left-hand drive.

I am passionate about reading, writing, hiking, cooking, baking, drawing, painting, programming with computers, playing with kids, having meaningful conversations about Literature, History, Art, Science, Nature.

I enjoy this site as I always have the opportunity to meet wonderful families and I am looking forward to helping you with the work you need while I am visiting your country!
