Hello everyone :)
I'm a friendly, open-minded, and curious person who loves animals and nature. I enjoy the company of other like-minded people and animals, but I equally value my alone time. My mother tongue is German, and I am proficient in English and have basic knowledge of Russian.
I want to make most of my freedom to travel before starting my engineering studies in September 2025. At 18 years old, I've been living on my own with my best friend as my room-mate since the summer of 2024, which means I know how to handle houshold chores very well. Due to my two younger siblings, I have always been a patient and responsible person.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors and doing sports like skateboarding, going for walks or creative activities like crocheting and reading. I also like watching animal documentaries or just casual series on netflix. I'm not really musical but play my electric guitar sometimes just for fun. I also like cooking, and strive to eat vegan whenever possible though I'm okay with vegetarian options if needed.

In terms of creative abilities, I love changing up my flat—for example, redecorating, repositioning furniture, and painting walls. In the outdoor kindergarden I've worked at, I did a lot of outdoorsy work like chopping wood, making fire and so on, so I would say I'm not too bad with my hands. Of course I am always happy to learn new skills to expand my practical abilities.
Moreover, I'm an animal lover and volunteered at my local animal shelter for about two years. There, I worked with smaller pets like rabbits, exotic birds, cats, and rats. I also completed an internship at a zoo in Esslingen. I don’t currently own any pets since I’ll be moving away for my studies in September, but I’d love to work with dogs one day. So far, my experience with dogs has been limited to spending time with those owned by relatives who kindly let me fuss over them.
Additionally, I have experience in working with children from the age of 2-6, as I had a wonderful time working at a forest kindergarten for one year as part of my Bundesfreiwilligendienst. I really enjoyed being around the children and built special relationships with a few of them whom I miss dearly.
