Hi everyone,

My name is Lily and I am from the U.S. in Oregon. I am a student taking some time off from my studies to travel and explore the world. I love meeting and getting to know people, learning about different cultures, and eating all sorts of delicious food! I've traveled extensively throughout the States, and am excited to visit other countries over the next year.

I love animals, digging in the dirt and planting things, and working with children. Volunteering and giving back to the community is important to me. I've volunteered and worked at a horse rescue and sanctuary, animal shelter, conservation and forestry programs, and was a camp counselor at a summer camp for young children. I've also had jobs at a couple of restaurants and currently work in the tasting room at a winery.

I'm interested in participating in all sorts of workaway opportunities. I love nature and being in the middle of nowhere, but I also love big cities and all they have to offer. I'm up for anything and everything! I also make the world's best cinnamon rolls and would love to cook some for my hosts!

I have great customer service and restaurant skills, lots of experience handling horses, dogs and cats, and working with children. I've also spent a lot of time planting trees and plants, digging trails in the forest, and removing invasive species from the woods.

I enjoy chatting and getting to know new people, but I'm a pretty chill person and not into partying. I'd love to learn new things like driving a tractor, beekeeping, or how to make olive oil.
