Hi! I am Lieke, I'm 27 years old, am from the Netherlands, and I would love to do a work away again!

I would love to spend some time in nature in a more remote area and do practical work with my hands. I did a few workaways earlier, and I've realized that those experience are much more memorable to me than a regular vacation.

I like to do many things, from reading to hiking, beach volleyball, surfing, cooking, taking pictures with my analogue camera, and doing games. I enjoy being outside in the nature, whether it is in a forest, on a mountain, or on the beach.

In general, I am openminded, enthusiastic, easy going, social, hardworking, and I love getting to know new people, new cultures, and new places. I’m looking forward to volunteering, learning new skills, connecting with locals and anyone from other places and above all experience living in a different way, different location, etc.

I could help with a wide variety of things, as I am always enthousiastic about learning new things and I am a quick learner and hard worker.

I can help with projects in/around the house, as I also always try to fix things myself, like painting the walls, floor laying, fixing my washing machine. I also love cooking and baking, and would love to learn new recipes or share my recipes. I also enjoy working outside a lot, I love to take care of my garden and see all the plants grow!

Lieke is one of the best volunteers I had at my home from the Netherlands, responsible, easygoing, fast, nice, openminded, respectful, always happy, and is the kind of person who enjoys the place and the area really easy. She likes to hike and nature, and is a good one painter!!!!

My stay at Raimon's place was really amazing, I had such a good time. It was exactly what I wanted: being in the mountains and being far away from the city but especially city life. We had a great time here, it is a wonderful place with everything you need. We mainly did housesitting, which was very chill. Also the tasks we did was easy, it was clear what we had to do. Wouldn't recommend to go alone (it is quite isolated and might get boring), but together with someone it is perfect!

Lieke and Saskia were fantastic workawayers, essential help that made my life way easier. I also had the chance to meet them and they are fantastic company, but at the same time very independent. What's better than this, really? I warmly recommend their help to anyone!

Staying with François was a wonderful experience! François is very friendly, open, funny and easy to talk and live with. He makes sure you feel at home (don't ask him if you can eat this or that, the answer will be 'I told you in the beginning, the only rule is that there are no rules so you don't have to ask me that!').
