Hello I'm Libby, I'm a very friendly, creative and hard-working person from the UK. I am at my happiest when I am making art, taking care of children or simply being in nature. When in England, I am most often in my pottery studio, but when i'm not I like taking care of horses, spending time with my family, reading and doing sport. I am an outdoor person with practical experience working in the garden and helping my parents with renovation projects... I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty!
I joined Work away to meet people who live all different kinds of lifestyles but who share a common love for nature and the environment. I love the idea of travelling slowly, sharing experiences with people along the way and immersing myself into the places that I visit. I am looking forward to meeting some lovely people and spending time sharing what each of us has to offer in ways of lifestyle, interests and skills. I am a clean and easy to get along with person, non-smoker, pet lover, mostly vegetarian (i'm very happy to cook vegetarian and vegan meals for you) and I love to learn new skills.

As I recently graduated from art school, I have many skills in a number of artistic processes such as Pottery, printing, jewelry making, sewing, illustration, sculpture and installation. I would be very happy to pass on some of my knowledge in these specific areas and also equally eager to learn new skills from you too. I am very practical and have helped with a number of building projects so I have basic knowledge in DIY.

Aside from art my other passion in life is education, I have worked and volunteered in a number of schools in both the UK and Spain and I am great with children of all ages. I am also part of a charity that assists the building of school allotments in school to teach children about the natural world and empower young people to take into their own hands, the care of the environment. I believe that creativity and play are key cornerstones of education and I would be more than happy to assist in playful education and childcare if needed.
