Description

My name is Leonie Heiniger. I'm a 28 years old, originally from the german speaking part of Switzerland and currently living in francophone Belgium. I'm about to finish my Master in social sciences with specialization in mobility research. To finance myself, I work in bars and cafés, as well as for a Swiss-based association who is concerned with ameliorating integration of newly arrived people in Switzerland.
In my free time, I love to stroll around, do little hikes, do yoga, play guitar and sing, take care of dogs and cats, go to the cinema, meets with friends. I enjoy learning new languages and learn about new cultures and mentalities. I'm a quite easy-going, uncomplicated person who is a hard and passionate worker and has no problems with following orders. I'm very social and like to do activites with others, but from time to time I also enjoy deeply having some time for my own to be by myself. I like to say that I have a very close relationship with nature and animals - I grew up with dogs and cats and have been dogsitting for years. I adore spending time with animals and getting an understanding of how their minds work.

I'm a very open-minded person who strives to open her spirits while experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. My language skills go from fluent English and German to a good level in French as well as some knowledge of Spanish and Arabic.
I'm quite okay with artsy things and I like physical work of all sorts - even though I don't have a professional background in it. I am keen on leaning any kind of new skill. I'm open to try anything as long as it's with my hands and body!
