HI, my name is Lenja, I am from Germany and 19 years old.
This year in spring I graduated from a Highschool in Berlin.
After school, I would like to take at least one year off to get to know other countries and to find out for myself in which direction I would like to develop professionally. To me it is important to have some tasks during this "break" , that I can focus on and that not only benefits me but also other people and especially the environment. I am convinced that one year traveling around, meeting people, meeting cultures and learning from each other is an enormous chance to develop further and to get to know who I am am and what I want to do.
As a girl born and raised in a big city, I never got to experience what it is like, working hard for my food and appreciating in that way. I would be very very happy to experience life in the middle of nature, and to learn techniques or skills in how to live sustainable and self sufficient.

I am a patient, responsible person who likes to see everybody doing well. I am happy to help out where I am needed, focus on work and take responsibility. I love making music, play the piano and guitar, as well as being creative with building things or drawing and painting.
In school we had several workshops, including woodworking, metalworking and sewing, which I really enjoyed and hope to get to do more often in the future.
My English is almost fluently, mainly because of one month abroad in America, where I helped a family with their kids.
I will definitely enjoy farm work since I am doing horse riding for several years and regularly help in the barn, pastures, and with animal care. I am not afraid of physically demanding work or dirt.
Since this year I also have a drivers license, if required:)
