Hi from Lee and Patrick!

We are a recently retired but energetic couple who share a love of travel, nature walks, the beach, meeting people, caring for animals, and experiencing different cultures. We are fit, and active, and love the outdoors. We can’t quite believe it but we have been together for nearly three decades – forever grateful to our friend who all those years ago set us up on a blind date! Over the years, we have raised a son, renovated several houses, established many gardens, treasured numerous beloved pets, and travelled far and wide. A couple of years ago we made the sea-change from Sydney to the gorgeous north coast of NSW.

Now that we have the luxury of time, we are looking forward to new adventures. We hope that joining Workaway will give us the opportunity to combine our love of travel with meeting people and contributing in a meaningful way.

What we can offer – we are both experienced gardeners and love caring for animals big and small. In addition to being an architect Patrick is a highly skilled builder and handyman, while Lee is great at painting/decorating and preparing meals and refreshments.
