My name is Laurie and my husband is Rob. We are in our late fifties (but very fit!) and live in a small village in the province of Quebec, Canada. I am an author, travel writer, editor, and former English teacher, and Rob is a computer/ IT guy who programs and designs websites and he is also a handyman. We've both done lots of gardening over the years and have also helped our friends build strawbale houses so understand that construction. Rob has built cabins (and websites!) We'll be travelling to Turkey in March and April 2024 and would love to do some Workaways! We are friendly, outdoorsy, eco-conscious, nature lovers who don't mind hard work. I should also mention that we are vegetarian. I love children and babies and would be happy to look after kids and teach English and of course, help on a farm. We love travelling and meeting people from around the world. English is our first language. Rob also speaks French. We have done Workaways in Morocco which we loved. We would love to meet you!
