Hey everyone!
My name is Laurie and I am currently finishing up my second year of my PhD program at the University of Kentucky (Lexington, Kentucky, USA)! I earned my undergraduate, masters, & now working on my doctorate degree(s) in communication! I currently take four courses for my program, as well as have been teaching undergraduate students at the university for the past 2 years!

I absolutely love to travel!! I believe the only way to truly experience new cultures and learn about how other people live, is by doing it yourself! I also love running, outdoor sports, writing, creating random things, being organized, my 1.5 year old mini golden doodle puppy, and my fiance/travel partner (Caden)!!!

I have experience in teaching, communication, and organization! My dream jobs are to be a professional home organizer, wedding planner, and a couples communication consultant! Although I am not the most handy person as far as hardcore DIY projects go, I love to be creative and always find myself tidying up and doing random projects for fun when I can! My fiance (Caden) loves to garden and do more hands-on outdoorsy tasks, and I typically assist him with them - I just need a bit more direction! I have tons of experience walking, caring for, and house-sitting dogs! I have been a part-time dog walker/house sitter now since my undergraduate years - I love getting to spend time with new furry friends! Lastly, although I am not a huge chef, I am learning!! Caden absolutely loves to cook and has always been the one to make us yummy food - he genuinely enjoys it (while I just am his sous chef when needed)
