Five years ago I set out on my first backpacking trip around Southeast Asia that truly opened my eyes up to the learning and growth opportunities that travel has to offer. Since then I have been pushing myself to step more out of my comfort zone as I think it is in these times where we can learn and grow the most.

Nature has always been where I feel the most myself. I am an adventure seeker and love anything and everything outdoors - hiking, camping, biking, swimming, and even just laying in the sun with a good book! I have spent the last 6 months working in the Canadian rocky mountains where I have been able to grow my love for hiking. I am very interested in completing some of the Great Walks of New Zealand and welcome any information or travel buddies who are also interested!

I love meeting new people and creating meaningful connections. I absolutely love road trips, listening to music, chatting about life, and I will never say no to watching the sunrise or sunset. My goal for this upcoming year is to learn something new and I am keen to try surfing and sailing. I thrive in environments that challenge me and I am very eager to learn through work and travel.

I am interested in learning about plant and wildlife conservation and would be grateful to hosts who are willing to share their knowledge.

I am truly so excited to embark on my workaway journey, meet likeminded travellers, learn from local hosts, and to be immersed in the New Zealand culture!
