I am a mature student, currently attending the University of Galway, completing my Master's in Human Resources. I am seeking a one month stay at the end of my course in the August timeframe. I currently possess an Irish residency permit which can be extended for up to two more years, upon graduation.
I am thoroughly enjoying my time in Ireland and would love the opportunity to experience life in a more rural setting, as this has been a lifelong dream of mine! I am also very interested in learning more about animal rescue - horses and donkeys in particular.

I rode horses for ten years when I was younger and worked at the barn where I rode, so I am quite familiar with the work needed to maintain a clean environment for the good of the animals. I continued to ride on and off over the years, when time and money would permit. Although my experience is mainly with horses, I would feel comfortable working on any type of large animal farm - dairy, sheep etc.
I have also been a mom to a number of large dogs, cats and guinea pigs, so I am quite comfortable caring for small animals as well. My oldest child is a veterinarian who attended UCD, so have had a fair amount of "indirect" education as it relates to both farm and small animals.
