Hi, my name is Rik and I am currently thinking about doing a workaway again because I feel like broadening my horizon :)
I am a positive minded practical person that likes to laugh, be outside, and help others.
Currently I am working as a jobcoach to help people with challenges that prevented them from finding work. I do this at a social firm where at the same time I am also working on making products from our own plastic waste material.
I am confident to say that I am a handy guy, and I enjoy to make, repair or recycle things. I have a background in mechanical engineering, some woodworking experience and a curious mind.
This summer I hope to find a place surrounded by nature where I can be of use for 1 week and meet others. I am looking for some hands on projects like building / repairing / landscaping.
I enjoy being outside, camping, hiking, climbing, playing and repairing guitars
In 2019 I did 3 workaways, 2 in Turkey and 1 in Georgia. This was a great experience where I was able too meet great people and learn a lot :)
