Hello! I'm friendly, outgoing, and hard working with loads of positive energy to share! I'm originally from the US, but have lived abroad for the last 4 years and am wanting to continue my travels. I'm interested in gaining experience in a wide variety of settings, including plant medicines, yoga, spirituality, eco-farming, working with disadvantaged children, language exchange, animal and land conservation, and more.
I love being active, with a particular draw to rock climbing, hiking, brazilian jiu-jitsu, yoga, and surfing. I love spending time in nature and in the sun, and I would absolutely love to improve my Spanish!
I have a Master's Degree in Applied Psychology from University College Cork in Cork, Ireland, and have worked for over 9 years in social and psychological settings with vulnerable adults, teens, and children, teaching classes, conducting assessments, and providing support and intervention. I have a calm demeanor and work well under pressure.
I have my TEFL teaching certificate, and am also a certified yoga teacher (200H YTT). Additionally, I have assisted in the teaching of other movement-based classes, such as mobility and handstands classes, as well as Pranayama and holotropic breathwork.
More details about my language interests
I am currently learning Spanish and am very motivated to gain fluency in it. I would also be open to learning other languages as well.
I am a very friendly person and get along well with everyone. I am easy to work with and have over 12 years of working hard in professional employment settings, so my work can absolutely be relied upon. I am responsible and don't smoke or take recreational drugs, and I only rarely drink.
Special dietary requirements
I am an easy-going vegetarian who is not picky.
